Bergamo and Atalanta: the stadium in the city

At the end of the 2024-25 season, the Bergamo Stadium, home ofAtalanta, underwent a complete turf resurfacing project. The new pitch, designed to sFIFA and UEFA standards, was constructed with a hybrid system of natural grass reinforced with synthetic stitching, laid on a certified silica sand draining sub-base. The installation included state-of-the-art irrigation and heating systems and a perimeter synthetic turf area. The technology employed allows for longer hours of use, improves traction for the players eand ensures a stable and safe surface, even under heavy stress.
