Renovating a high-profile course requires technical choices capable of improving performance without interrupting the playing experience. Paradello completed the conversion of the fairways for the Modena Golf & Country Club through the stolonization of Bermuda Northbridge Grass, a high-performance warm-season variety, while maintaining the existing turf as a substrate. The intervention, preceded by an in-depth study and technical validation phase – including a field analysis in the
United States – drastically reduced downtime: in just 20 days, the fairways were fully playable again.
The result is a more efficient, uniform, and sustainable course, capable of withstanding the summer season with lower water consumption, improved drainage, and a superior quality of play, appreciated by both the club’s management and members.
